I went down to the riverside for a run. I was running in a group but everyone was rather spread out. Each one of us was holding an N64 controller while pressing down the A button. I ran for about 3 km before reaching a dead end at a pet store. The dog in the picture looked exactly the same as the one laying on the porch. I turned around to run back on the same path before I encountered the other runners. As I passed by one of them I said, “I don’t think it does anything when we press A.” The both of us burst out laughing as we confirmed each others’ suspicions. When we got back to the starting line, we found the reason it wasn’t working was because the Mario Kart disc was heavily scratched from years before.

I was on the public bus with my uncle heading to some kind of exhibit. However, after expressing some kind of existential fear, we got distracted quickly got off of the bus to walk around. I expressed my thoughts on how we as humans aren’t going to be going anywhere anytime soon. I meant “going somewhere” in terms of space exploration. I had a friend that was about to go on a mission but I reckoned that our capabilities won’t progress so quickly that they would be gone for very long. “Unless we developed some new way of creating energy” I added. At this point, I nearly crashed into a building and afterwards I asked “just what if I died there?” and other implications for the future following my potential death. We remembered that this question was partly what initiated our getting off of the bus so we waited at a stop and got onto the next one.

My parents were preparing beef noodles.

I was lying over the edge of the sofa face-down reading some kind of novel. The lights were dimmed and ahead of me lay the doorway to the stairwell. It must have been late at night for I don’t recall any natural lighting. You came over to lay on top of my back to ask what I was reading while at the same time looking over my shoulder.

I brought a friend to a family dinner which, to our amusement, everyone thought to be a significant other. We took our seat somewhat close to the door as we were a tad late and began to eat. However, the two of us were leaving early due to unforeseen circumstances which prompted my grandmother to ask where we were going. My family bode us farewell at the door while my grandmother looked at my coat which she was holding and said that it was much too long and old fashioned.

My mom was deciding with my brother and his wife where we should have dinner. My mother suggested, “we should go to Mary’s(ice cream) after dinner” to which the other two simultaneously responded that it closed at 5. My mom made a disappointed sound and suggested we should then get frozen yoghurt instead.

I was in front of my dad’s computer in the middle of the night. I watched as the mouse on the screen moved on its own, most probably due to some kind of hacker activity. After a while, the browser on the screen (Firefox) blacked out and stopped responding.

I was going to pickup my clothes from a friend’s second residence. After getting out of the car, the doorway seemed strangely familiar. In fact, it looked like the other end of the house I had just left. “Isn’t this the same place? Why did we need to drive?” I asked. “Oh, no it’s a different house. They’re just identical” came the reply.

I was walking with my family across the road to look at a hydroelectric power plant. We encountered some cracked pipes that were crusted with salt from the sea. When we went in someone came and reported about their current inefficiencies and their new plans for renovation.

The two of us were walking side by side through the airport in the most unnatural manner. I knew that something was about to happen but I couldn’t be sure what it was. I was tasked with watching over this person who was a friend at one point. After a split second of letting down my guard, he grabbed my arm and took out a needle in an attempt to inject me with a yellow fluid. I supposed that it was too late anyways but partway through our struggle I took out the needle and emptied out the rest of the liquid left onto the floor and threw it aside.
