I was inside of a gaming cafe(pub?) and I was unable to unclench my jaw. The harder I tried to relax, the tighter it got until I got a headache. I walked out into an empty hall of a shopping mall as I tried to pull my jaw back down with my hands. I started to feel my molars being ground down and chipping off at the sides. It felt like gravel was slowly accumulating in my mouth as my molars disintegrated.

I walked by a garden on rainy day and stopped as I there was small frog in the flower pots to left. I watched as it climbed onto larger frog and settled down - both of them now stationary. I wanted to take a picture so I took out my phone but was distracted by someone who was approaching from the other direction. By the time I turned back to the two frogs, the smaller one had already enveloped its host with a thick slimy layer of pink goo before they were both molded into a pencil-like shape.

My dad and I were next to a flooded parking lot during a zombie outbreak. The zombies around us were dormant and seemed to not notice our presence as we slowly stepped over the roofs of parked cars. We were on our way back to a safe house but we also needed to retrieve two crates of supplies back with us before it got dark. “Just open them and leave” I whispered to my dad. I pointed in the 11 and 8 o’clock directions to convey where the crates were. For some reason at this point I released an inhuman scream, alerting the horde around us. We jumped into the water in panic and tried to swim to safety somewhere else.

I was doing a physics problem set when I asked someone next to me “Why bother living when we are all bound for the same end?”

I had only just gotten out of bed and I was on track to missing the school bus. I ran with my suitcase behind me and saw the teal-blue double-decker bus closing up its doors. My parents and I frantically waved and shouted from a distance and the doors opened up again. As I ran to the bus, I threw my suitcase into the bottom compartment and climbed up the stairs. I went to the second level which was covered with soft padding, pillows, and light blue-green sheets.

The only light on the third-floor hallway came from the daylight shining in through the windows. I approached a classroom door near a stairwell and my professor was standing there, waiting. I told him that I wished to sit-in for his Russian language class to see how it was before I registered it for the next year. He expressed with disappointment how the students needed to talk more in class and that they “should know better” as they were higher level students.

I was sitting on one end of the lawn and someone was driving a van all over the grass. The driver shouted across the field to ask if I could see what his headlights were pointed towards (it was daytime). It was supposedly some kind of trap that would hit you in the face with a swinging tennis ball when you tried to grab it. It wasn’t long before I saw another one right above my head but it went off without any input. A girl who was supposedly the creator of these devices rode past me on a kiddy bike as I ducked to dodge the tennis ball. “Fuck you!” I shouted at her but then quickly tried to apologize before I was cut off by a similar response. The back wheels of her bike started twisting and deforming as she rode away.

I was in an underground train station and a mine-cart was moving very slowly on the tracks. Somewhere by the track there was a sign that read: “This goes up to 555 km/h. How lucky will you get?” I sat into the cart and it slowly started to accelerate. By the time I got out of the tunnel and out into the open, I was speeding over the tracks. There were large groups of people walking along and next me on what was a very sunny day. I was afraid of losing control at the speeds I was going at but I also knew that the moment I stopped, i wouldn’t be able to regain my initial momentum.

I walked into a room and there were three mugs on the table. They were yellow with purple writing that read “This cup will topple”. I asked someone in the room if I should use these cups to which they told me to never trust them.

My logic professor was giving a lecture about different literary devices and I was one of the few people that were paying attention. He didn’t seem to be bothered about the lack of engagement and simply continued as if everything was going as normal. He then applied literary theories to a small excerpt written on the board about “Mullbutton’s buttons” and how it was a self referential piece which for some reason caught the attention of most of the class.
