I walked to my brother’s room but the door closed when I approached it even though he was sitting at his desk. I went back to my own room and laid down in the dark. A group of people came into my room to set up some kind of kiddie pool on the bed. One of them sitting next to me asked if I regretted my past.

I walked into the library to return a stack of books but when the receptionist checked them I realized I had left a notebook and school ID card in the stack. I picked them out while the person backed out from his desk and started dancing on the spot. I looked through the glass doors behind me and saw a withered tree with a screen in front of it that displayed where its cherry blossoms would have been.

It was time for lunch as I walked down to the music classrooms. I strolled past the empty white cubbies when I met a friend who was particularly bored. He complained that he didn’t know what to do. I suggested watching the only movie on a USB stick of unknown origin. It turned out to be a movie about the life of a butcher at a market. The other files in the memory stick were all of the digital assets used such as the interfaces and images on the screens in the movie.

The plane landed for a short layover somewhere in China. I walked out of the airport even though my next flight was boarding soon. As I walked down the stairs I ended up lining up for a rather crowded stall selling lunchboxes. I wasn’t sure what I wanted so I called for a custom order with chicken and curry over rice. I cancelled the order for beef and fish after realizing it would have been way too much. When I finished ordering, there was only about 20 minutes left before I had to board. I picked up my food when my number (61) was called and the person handing it to me asked how I managed to order the chicken with curry. I told her it was a custom order and walked away.

I was walking through the house until I noticed that I was in the middle of a game on my computer screen. We were just about to lose and I had no memory of ever starting the game. “Who logged me in?” I asked.

I sat up from bed and looked out of the window directly adjacent to me. There were a bunch on tourists aboard the boat in rather rough waters. I couldn’t tell if they were trying to look in but I pulled the curtains shut anyways. I went back to my nap.

It late at night and the supermarket was closing up soon. We were about to leave but I wandered off to another section of the store until I ended up in a mostly empty area. Along the perimeter there were large windows opening to empty storage spaces. I walked along the metal frames until people called my name from above. They were hanging out on the top empty shelf and seemed to be enjoying themselves. I climbed up and landed onto a bed with dark grey sheets. There was a window on one side to the morning street outside.

I was writing a report on and making an exhibit for a once fabled “New Open Art Museum” that was situated in a three story house in the middle of the city. The house it was reportedly in was now empty and all that I could find out about it was based on secondhand information that wasn’t any much more credible than mere rumors.

I was playing a tower defense game on my phone that was still in beta. Partway through the game, the keyboard jumped up and I accidentally pressed the x key which for some reason was in the middle of the top row. It quickly switched to another game that appeared to be a hack and slash with placeholder graphics.
