I woke up from a dream where I was running through a indoor tiled area - probably a kitchen of some sort. I had no interest in remembering this dream. This was partly because I was lazy and partly because of the fact that I tended to discard dreams that I couldn’t recall enough details for. I looked at the blank notepad behind my bed and realized that something was off.

My brother got a notification that his Taiwanese citizenship status had been revoked. They added a clause that as a result his wife was now also exempt from being a Taiwanese citizen. They noted the reason was that the international records for his location were inconsistent and they concluded that his identity must have been a fraud. He was supposedly supposed to be in Japan but they also had records that he was in Singapore. In actuality, we were in Taiwan.

I tried to open a rather large .zip file on my computer when I message popped up announcing that my activity was being tracked. I looked up the at TV that hung from one of the pillars in the cafeteria and saw the news reporting about how there were currently 11 Americans on trial for piracy.

I had opened Snapchat to see that someone had a snap in their story from “Dec 1, 1969″. When I opened it, it totaled about 60 seconds of someone dancing in front of a window in their living room.

We had ordered in “personalized” pizza and someone walking by behind us asked if we had it delivered. “No, we picked it up by ourselves” someone answered. I wasn’t able to sense the presence of sarcasm in their response.

Our van drove off and we left someone at the gas station because of his weight. When I questioned it, someone replied that they wouldn’t let us through the gate to their private property if he was in the car.

My aunt and uncle were complaining that her daughter was looking for excuses to stay home even though she was already an adult. They said how she was settling with an unsatisfactory job with low pay when she has the potential to do much better. What was even worse, they complained, was that she wasn’t saving any of the money she was earning.

She asked me where I was going as we ran across a bridge that went over an empty pool of a waterpark. “Work” I replied. Apparently I was assigned a mission to assassinate the competitor of the product we were working for. I ran through the hallway of hotel rooms, equipped with a bomb concealed as a coke can.
