We were in an underground cave and people made it a competition as to who could climb the tree out into the daylight the fastest. This tree was suspended above an extremely deep chasm and a single misstep could result in falling to one’s demise.

My friend and I were destroying a variety of different shrines. We bowed in front of each of them before tearing them down.

I went down to the riverside for a run. I was running in a group but everyone was rather spread out. Each one of us was holding an N64 controller while pressing down the A button. I ran for about 3 km before reaching a dead end at a pet store. The dog in the picture looked exactly the same as the one laying on the porch. I turned around to run back on the same path before I encountered the other runners. As I passed by one of them I said, “I don’t think it does anything when we press A.” The both of us burst out laughing as we confirmed each others’ suspicions. When we got back to the starting line, we found the reason it wasn’t working was because the Mario Kart disc was heavily scratched from years before.

I was on the public bus with my uncle heading to some kind of exhibit. However, after expressing some kind of existential fear, we got distracted quickly got off of the bus to walk around. I expressed my thoughts on how we as humans aren’t going to be going anywhere anytime soon. I meant “going somewhere” in terms of space exploration. I had a friend that was about to go on a mission but I reckoned that our capabilities won’t progress so quickly that they would be gone for very long. “Unless we developed some new way of creating energy” I added. At this point, I nearly crashed into a building and afterwards I asked “just what if I died there?” and other implications for the future following my potential death. We remembered that this question was partly what initiated our getting off of the bus so we waited at a stop and got onto the next one.

I was lying over the edge of the sofa face-down reading some kind of novel. The lights were dimmed and ahead of me lay the doorway to the stairwell. It must have been late at night for I don’t recall any natural lighting. You came over to lay on top of my back to ask what I was reading while at the same time looking over my shoulder.
