I was with three of my friends from childhood and we were trying to find the right bus to ride. After getting onto the first bus, I set my backpack down at the last row. We had a feeling that it was the wrong bus so we got off and entered a second bus. While standing in the middle of the aisle, we started moving and saw that the one we were looking for was yet another bus that was about to drive off. We quickly got off but I remembered that my bag was still on the first bus so I detached from the group to fetch my belongings. By the time I had gotten my bag and gotten off the first bus, the others had already long gone and I lost my sense of direction as they all departed from a roundabout.

I was on the bus and I overheard some people talking about how students weren’t enthusiastic enough about college and how it was a shame that they weren’t taking full advantage of the extracurricular activities that were around.

My physics professor was talking about the significance of studying the bible. For some reason at some point I proclaimed that he was “literally invincible”.

I was sitting by the window on the plane and I was trying to get out of my seat. The man next to me had a large bucket of popcorn in his lap which I stepped over. After getting into the aisle, I ran between the seats, knocking some of them down. At some point I was even riding a bike over the seats. When I sat back down I began transferring water from one bottle into another, presumably to prepare for landing. I still needed the restroom.

I was walking through a crowded house that was for display while being led into an elevator. I wondered why I needed the elevator, considering that I only needed to get to the fourth floor, but the reason was exactly that. We had forgotten to press the button and instead ended up on the 14th floor. The other person walked out of the elevator to get something when the elevator began to inch down the shaft. The doors stayed open but the sunlight was slowly obscured by division between the floors. They told me to press the “open” button on the panel to bring the carriage back up.

I had just finished dinner with my family at a restaurant and there was an uncomfortable silence in the air. I stood up halfway from my chair while still staring down at the white tablecloth. I fumbled around with the stack of cash that I had slid up my sleeve of my hoodie- six 1000 NT bills. Everyone at the table glanced up at me.

Someone asked me if I had ever made a movie before. I replied that I was once part of a film festival but had little direct involvement with the production of the film.

It was an yearly tradition for the group to make an audio recording together for purely archival reasons. We would also play the past recordings when the time came to listen to the kinds of things people wanted to leave behind. When these recordings were played, everyone was handed a booklet that detailed the contents. The items were arranged from the bottom of the page to the top.

It was like walking through a city without buildings. There were courtyards and alleys but the lack of roofs meant that the sunlight reached every corner of the ground. My brother and I were explaining to his wife about how the door knobs of the public restrooms in this area used to be corroded most of the time until they had set new regulations for maintenance. I looked out of a frame in the tiled wall to see a barren road going through an empty plain. A large rat with a saddle walked past on its hind legs.

We were given two class periods to finish 6 out of 10 physics questions that required us to carry out their respective lab experiments. I looked at the yellow sheet of paper with the prompts, realizing that the first of the two periods were ending soon and that I still had 4 more labs to go. I was rather distressed knowing the fact that I would have to do a lot more work at a quicker pace next class.
