We were watching some kind of sports game and I was sitting at one of the corners at the very front of the bleachers. I couldn’t find my parents and suddenly the players were gone as well. Apparently our seats had descended and now we were looking at an identical field one story below the original. It felt a bit like a parking lot, with its concrete pillars and walls.

We were performing an experiment to determine the power consumption of a TI-86 calculator. Part of this experiment involved dropping a concrete bust from a skyscraper and measuring the energy gained when it hit the ground. We would then measure how long it took for the bust to cool down afterwards. This cooling process was expected to last a whole night. However, due to the value of the sculpture we wanted to test, we instead used replicas that were busts of a young boy and girl.

My aunt revealed to me how my family lied to my brother to trick him into returning to Taiwan. One such lie had to do with someone’s height and another had to do with the fact that some private organization disguising as a charity group got underfunded.

I was walking through the schoolyard with a couple friends as we saw children walking across the lawn with their arms linked. There must of been a continuous chain of at least a hundred or so elementary kids. I suggested to the person next to me that perhaps it was their first day of class. “I don’t think so”, he replied. I looked at my watch to see that it was November 1st, Wednesday. I kept silent but still held on to the notion that it was their first day.

Someone was expressing their distress that a certain game now introduced a mechanic where the player had to travel between locations. “What is the point?” they said, “the play time was already (x) days, now it’s just unnecessarily longer without additional content!”

The cafeteria was empty. Immaculate. Someone in a panda suit picked up a lunch box that was left over. The joke was that it said “okay” to everything. The girl next to me said that she might one day send them a video when they (the panda) “stopped hating Asians”.

We were lining up in the courtyard for a broadcasted competition. Someone was reading out load anonymous comments about the current situation. Each of the leaves on the trees were etched with messages. I forgot to do the homework that was due today.

We had just lost our third member. It didn’t help that they had taken most of our food reserves with them. The only thing left between the two of us were a handful of carrots.

I was sitting on a high stool in a cobblestone alleyway, looking through a window of a cafe. The window was situated higher than myself so I was really only able to see the top half of the wall and its ceiling. There was a abstract painting with a large yellow oval on a white canvas and a green stem that laid across the top of the oval.

I was going to shower and was led into a large bedroom with a curtained bathtub in the corner. The floor was tiled and the window curtains were a majestic purple. While I was showering, I was also somehow able to “merge” parts of the room together, literally condensing the distances between points in space. After doing this for a few iterations, I realized that my shampoo and body soap were gone. I knew that I had brought them in with me and set it down on the side but now they were nowhere to be found.
