I was sitting with a friend at a table facing the street. I had a feeling that the two people across the road have been following and watching me for months now, as I was here often to do work. I needed to throw away a plastic bottle so I backpedaled in order to keep an eye of my stuff. As expected, the two people came forwards and started rummaging through my books, claiming my day planner as their own. I immediately ran back while they picked up more books while holding a cigarette between their fingers. I asked why they were taking my stuff to which they started taking my friend’s belongings and replied “See, these were mine all along!” I threatened and kicked to no avail as they continued to collect everything that I had owned.

I was sitting on the floor between two shelves in a bookstore and picked out a book titled “Why We Write”. It detailed the reasons why wars were fought. I was in someone’s way so I put the book back in its place before scooting to the left. I picked out another book from the bottom shelf titled “The Walk Through Eastmoreland”. The book itself along with its cover illustration looked like it was published in the 90s. It was a small yet thick paperback with browned pages that had a familiar scent.

I was sitting in a particularly cramped seat of a bus somewhere in Hong Kong. I was going to meet a friend at 12 PM but when I got off at an MTR station, someone led me off asking for help with a children’s soccer game. I was worried about being late but I followed him anyways as he explained to me what I was to do. I simply had to facilitate a few Rock Paper Scissor matches between the kids to determine the sequence the games were to be played. We walked through wide alleyways until we arrived at what looked like a heap of trash in a garbage dump. The top was fenced off which is where I assumed the kids were playing soccer.

My friend and I were playing a game that resembled Portal and our goal was to get to the top of a tower. There would also be boss battles at regular intervals, one of them being a large frog. I remember falling down to the bottom a few times before making enough platforms.

I was extremely anxious and the three of us were standing at the docks in the middle of the night. To the left of us was a restaurant and we could see people eating inside, but otherwise all that was visible was the silhouette of buildings and the horizon ahead. We were going home soon, but I still had tests to take.

We were at backyard barbeque in the evening and water was being scooped into a hot tub. Someone expressed how they wouldn’t want to enter the tub anymore because the original “base” was now diluted.

I was standing outdoors when someone came up to me and said, “Hey, I saw your post and I totally agree. How could they reconcile…[?]”

My brother had returned home and now he was cleaning out some drawers along with my dad. He was surprised when he found a stash of cash and asked why it was there. My dad explained that it was mine and that I never spend any money.

We had just finished a meal in a Japanese restaurant and were about to pay our bill with cash. We weren’t sure how to tip without a sufficient amount of change. In the end we somehow tipped $1 which I suspected wasn’t going to sit very well. I was washing my hands at the sink and noticed there were remnants of a bamboo patterned sticker on my palm and fingers. The glue was especially resistant to water. It was right about now when someone puked and we were ushered out.
