We were trying to get to an airport after we checked out a hotel. Just a few moments prior, I was taking a bath. I think we had to get out because sauna was burning down. Now we were in some underground tunnels which had a variety of stores and restaurants.

Things were different since you left. I started taking a new route home. It was Friday and for the first time, I saw how others spent their afternoons. I never realized that their days were so… lively. The sun was shining brightly and everyone seemed to be having fun. Perhaps I was hit with a pang of regret and jealousy. It was the middle of March. Everyone was obsessing over these two guys that managed to hack into some administrative servers of our school back in November. Apparently news of it only got out recently because there was no journalism whatsoever during the winter months. “People like this kind of news” stated some person in the newspaper article. “It’s satisfying because usually in life, we don’t get any quick results.”

I think we were on a coastal city. I want to say that it was somewhere along the lines of Hong Kong but the only way I could infer that is because we were looking at a map of our location and the sea was to the east.

We were in a hotel looking for my parents. I think it was because I woke up late as usual. The two of us walked throughout the hotel, playing special attention to the buffet area as it was still morning. There was no sign of my parents.
